NetComTV distributes its services through proprietary set-top boxes, most of which are custom-manufactured and have evolved through multiple generations on both Android and iOS platforms. 

Each device comes preloaded with the NetComTV app during production and is shipped directly to Homeowner Associations for community-wide installation and distribution. 

Because our model is enterprise-based rather than consumer-direct, app store download metrics do not represent our true scale. NetComTV’s growth is driven by strategic partnerships and bulk distribution — not by individual app purchases.

How Ad Calls Are Made

Ad calls are made from each individual NetComTV set-top box (CSAI). The networks (i.e., ESPN) send NetComTV "SCTE markers" placed within the content stream. 

These indicate the ad avails NetComTV owns in-stream. Each set-top box calls out until there is a winning bid. From there, the ad is downloaded to the box and will play at the next available SCTE marker.

Distribution

As a 26-year cable operator, NetComTV has direct relationships with Warner, Disney, Universal, Paramount, and all other networks that make up our robust channel lineup. These contracts stipulate that NetComTV owns and operates anywhere from 2 - 4 minutes of ad inventory each hour on every channel. 

As an O&O operator of this inventory, NetComTV has exclusive access to this inventory and is not a reseller.​ We currently monetize over 100 top cable channels with 19 channels dedicated to sports.
